ME ON BEACON WARD Sunday 12th May 2019: this is me not feeling too well on the nebuliser on Beacon Ward at Musgrove Park Hospital, Taunton, Somerset. The problem I had was the nausea was never ending. So the Medical Staff at both The Musgrove Park and Yeovil Disrtict Hospitals had, was finding a solution to alleaviate it. The solution was to be attached to a syringe pump. A battery operated syringe with a cocktail of Anti-Sickness and Morphine. It was with you at all times - no exception. You had to sleep with it! It hung off your shoulder in a bag by strap. Which was re-fuelled daily by the District Nurses. Photo by: Nigel Andrews.
